Join us for an interactive program that introduces African culture through drumming, movement, storytelling, and creative art-making. Participants will explore how rhythm and stories express identity, teach values, and build community.

This joyful and inclusive program welcomes children, youth, families, caregivers, and the general public. Children 10 and under must attend with a parent/caregiver.

Guided by facilitators from Uganda Social Society in BC, participants will:

• Learn how rhythm connects communities

• Experience oral storytelling traditions

• Engage in hands-on drumming and reflection

• No experience needed—just come ready to participate!
